Producer's Notes from JVウタウ: (Edited, May 26)
"Hi, all! First of all, I'd like to apologize for the relatively late upload of this video. Being the self-professed perfectionist that I am (yeah right lol) and always needing to make things go the way I planned them to (but consistently failing), I ended up taking too much time on arbitrary tasks that somehow contribute but not to a big degree (procrastinating). I'll admit, I'm not good at organizing my schedule!
But, on to the song... This is my first attempt at releasing a song with a drop, and it's exciting! I worked quite a bit on it but I'd love to have your feedback so that I can improve. This song is my most complex yet. Last time I counted, there were about 108 tracks. I added quite a few more since then. Mixing the song was far harder than I expected.
This is also my most complex PV yet, however it's far less complex than what was originally planned for this song (believe me!). Because of the use of high contrast and rapid shifting of hues, I decided to put an epilepsy trigger warning, even though there are no strobe lights or repeated flashing, since it could still cause nausea. The PV took me two or three days, which I guess is an achievement! XD
The song itself took me from May 8 to May 26 to finish, and I couldn't have done it without the help of Owly who tuned Fukase for me! I chose Fukase because his voice is a really nice one, and admittedly we do need some Vocaloids to get the attention. X'D
Making this song did take quite a bit of my life. I think I could explain the lack of organization in this notes-slash-novella by how I haven't slept for an entire day to work on this! To cut this whole thing short, I would like to say that I hope you enjoy this song. If you have any critique, please don't hesitate to leave it! It helps me improve.
Lastly, I would like to end these notes by acknowledging these people: Owly, thank you so much for tuning for me! I don't have any Vocaloids, since it's hard justifying their purchase to my parents who already know of UTAU, and being able to make a song for Fukase through you is a thought that makes me excited even until now. To one of my irl best friends Elimia Oracion, who painted the art for this PV: thank you so much! I'm also very happy that you did this without charging me, I should bring food or ink or something over to you soon! Next, I'd like to thank lʌntєrn of SHOCKING★TRUTH for serving a consultancy role with the arrangement of orchestral and electronic instruments together. If he hadn't urged me to improve the drop, it would have stayed even lamer than it is now! And lastly, to you, the viewer, for viewing my work and proving that my efforts are not for nothing. If you read this entire thing, I thank you for even as much as bothering to read what I have to say! Thank you!."
